I am a postdoctoal associate working for Nancy Lynch at CSAIL, MIT. I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University in February 2011. I worked with Scott Pike and Jennifer Welch on fault tolerant distributed computing. The list of my publications are available here, and my PhD thesis is available here.
I am currently looking for a full time position either in academia or industry with a focus on research and development.
I was born in Mysore, India, and grew up in a small town called Kudremukh. Finished my schooling there, did my undergrad at National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and graduated in 2001. I worked for over three years as a software engineer with Cisco Systems in Bangalore, India. After three years, I figured that the software industry was not for me, and so I went back to school to get my PhD.
My research interests include distributed computing, fault tolerant algorithms, mobile computing, wireless systems, formal models, and the theory of computation.
