Education is a life long endeavor. A small part of it takes place in the schools, and a large part of it in your life outside of it (spatially, and temporally). I believe that an important part of receiving this education is to be involved in activities that are extra-curricular and beyond your professional goals. I believe that it is important to be involved with other students, professionals, and the community at large through various volunteer and service activities. There's where you receive the most important part of your education in life.
