Directive gap closure is indistinguishable from aligned confabulation

When iterating on a spec, convergence against a model’s confabulation pattern is indistinguishable from convergence against intent.

The directive-gap goes invisible when the model’s confabulations fill gaps in ways that match intent. Convergence is real but fragile: against this model’s pattern, not a model-independent spec. When model changes, the gap reappears. Wasowski’s test surviving four generations while a 1,500-word spec needed reinterpretation shows the split: tests are formal, specs are model-dependent.. This is complementary to co-artifact-model and two-layer-governance-model, diagnosed via reverse-pass-observer and rooted in suggestible-actor-properties.
